About Me

Hi, my name is Brittany. I am a former assignment editor/content creator at WFTV Channel 9, where I managed the assignment desk, wrote stories for the website, and composed content for social media platforms and app push notifications. 

Writing stories about people and topics that are overlooked is why I am passionate about journalism. Hearing what they have to say and getting to tell those stories in creative ways is fulfilling.

I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in sociology. 
 
I hope that I can use what I have learned as a multimedia journalist to share unique stories and help make an impact in my community.
